Naturopathic Doctor and Acupuncturist

Hi, there! It's nice to meet you!

As a born and raised Michigander who grew up near Lake Huron I spent a lot of time outdoors camping, playing sports, swimming and making art which instilled in me an early interest in all things nature, science, health and art. This led me to pursue an undergraduate degree in Dietetics at Central Michigan University with a Minor in Entrepreneurship and continued art studies.

From there, I went on to Naturopathic Medical school at National University of Health Sciences (NUHS) in 2014. During my time there, I participated in a medical brigade in Nicaragua as a part of Natural Doctors International (NDI) where I was introduced to acupuncture, after which I decided to dual-degree with a Master of Acupuncture. In addition to NDI medical brigades, I spent two weeks with NUHS’s first study abroad program in Zauzhaung, China studying at an Integrative Hospital. After completing year-long internships at the NUHS Whole Health Center as well as rotations with the Salvation Army of Chicago, I graduated from both programs in 2018. I returned to Michigan in 2019 and began practicing Acupuncture at a non-profit clinic in Ann Arbor and offering Naturopathic Consulting virtually. I have also spent time offering NADA protocol for substance abuse at rehabilitation facilities and continue to volunteer in the community providing this support.

I have since pursued advanced training in mental health, hormonal health and gastrointestinal health through the Psychiatric Association of Naturopathic Physicians and the Confident Clinician, an evidenced-based integrative medicine clinical resource.  I also completed the Clinician Integrative Mental Health Program from Dr. Chris Bjorndal, ND and have additional training in Eating Behavior by Dr. Sylvi Martin, ND.

When I’m not working or studying, I’m probably in my garden, playing sports, making art, or hanging with my family, friends, pets and partner, Kibwe.

I look forward to working with you and being a partner in your health!
