Mold/Mycotoxin Recovery
Clear hidden inflammation
DOES THIS SOUND LIKE YOU?
-
Persistent brain fog or memory lapses
-
Chronic fatigue that doesn't improve with rest
-
Sinus congestion or recurring respiratory irritation
-
Heightened anxiety or mood instability
-
Joint pain or muscle aches
-
New onset or worsening sensitivities to smells, chemicals or certain buildings
-
Headaches that seem environmental
-
Symptoms that flare in certain spaces
-
Persistent symptoms even after remediating your space, moving to a new environment and/or being told "everything looks normal"
Mold-related illness can be complex and multi-system.
It requires a comprehensive approach — not a quick detox
WHY MOLD/MYCOTOXIN ILLNESS IS MISSED
Mold-related illness often goes unrecognized because:
-
Standard labs may not evaluate inflammatory patterns deeply
-
Symptoms are wide-ranging and mimic other conditions
-
Providers may not assess environmental triggers
-
Detox capacity and immune response can vary from person to person
Furthermore, mold doesn't just affect your lungs, it can also impact:
-
Immune function
-
Hormonal balance
-
Neurological health
-
Mitochondrial energy production
-
Gut integrity
-
Inflammatory pathways

HOW ARE WE DIFFERENT?
We don't approach mold-related illness as a one-size-fits all protocol. We focus on stabilizing the body first — and work with your body's natural detoxification pathways. If you have a liver and your kidneys, you have what you need. The question is, what can we do to support and optimize these natural pathways. Here is what Dr. Abigail can offer:
-
Clinical Experience: She has been working with environmental illnesses since 2020, and has since completed Jill Crista's Mold Literacy Certification, and participated in Neil Nathan's Mentorship.
-
Integrated Diagnostics: She analyzes both standard labs to assess general imbalances and inflammatory response as well as advanced functional mycotoxin testing to identify internal burden.
-
Stabilization-First Foundation: Rather than rushing into complex detox protocols that can overwhelm a sensitive system, her approach prioritizes body stabilization through "pillars of health" like circadian rhythm optimization and stress management.
-
Whole-Body Continuity: Her approach treats the body as an interconnected terrain, ensuring that gut health, immune regulation, and hormonal balance are supported simultaneously during the recovery process.
-
Targeted Natural Interventions: When the body is stable, she utilizes personalized binders (i.e. diet or supplements) and botanical antimicrobials as precision tools to support innate healing.
YOUR PLAN MAY INCLUDE:
-
Comprehensive Naturopathic health intake
-
Mycotoxin testing when appropriate
-
Inflammatory, gut and immune function assessment when appropriate
-
Gut and immune function assessment
-
Recommendations for Nervous system retraining
-
Acupuncture for inflammation and stress resilience
-
Binders (when appropriate and tolerated)
-
Dietary liver and lymphatic support
-
Personalized supplementation protocols if indicated

Naturopathy
Recommended Starting Point
Step 1: In our initial 90min visit, we take a deep dive into your health history, physical and emotional symptoms as well as stress and sleep patterns.
Step 2: If indicated, we plant for advanced lab testing through US Biotek (previously RealTime Labs).
Step 3: We develop a personalized plan, including diet, lifestyle and neural retraining, as well as targeted supplementation if needed.
Step 4: Ongoing monitoring through follow up visits, and repeat testing if indicated.
Acupuncture
Specialized Option
Acupuncture can be a powerful addition to your mold/mycotoxin recovery, for symptom management, but also as a neural re-training strategy. Consider this addition if you:
-
Experiencing significant musculoskeletal pain.
-
Are in "maintenance mode" with your mold/mycotoxin recovery.
-
Are too sensitive to take supplements or herbs.
-
Not seeking review of standard and/or advanced functional labs.
LED Light Therapy/ Photobiomodulation
While photobiomodulation is a potent catalyst for cellular regeneration and tissue repair, it is often most effective when integrated into a broader holistic strategy. We find this light-based therapy serves as a bridge for patients who require targeted physiological support alongside their foundational care. Specifically, we recommend LED light therapy as a complementary modality for those who are:
-
Navigating acute or chronic musculoskeletal pain and are too sensitive for acupuncture or other physical medicine modalities.
